	12 November 2007 16:38:31 Subject : bored in Santiago i am so bored!!! got to wait until tomorrow to get deri´s bike back and once again i find myself sat in the internet cafe, sending second e-mails to people. santiago is ok, expensive, but not overly so for a city. found some good places to eat, had falafels last night from a kebab shop, i was somewhat dubious about eating from a kebab shop, but it turned out to be very nice - obviously kebab shops in spain aren´t like kebab shops at home, i.e. greasy & rank, only fit for the copiously intoxicated. the plan seems to be constantly changing; yesterday we were going to portugal; this morning to barcelona; now we´re going to madrid, then valencia, up the east coast to barcelona where i´ll do my spanish school and we´re hoping osian can get us jobs just for a couple of weeks so as we´re not really paying to stay there. I have now developed a small chest infection, but am reckoning on me being ok tomorrow, ............ i´ve discovered a web site that´ll allow us to search for cheap hostels and albergues in all of spain, which is good. don´t really know what else to write. deri has just bought the camino board game,............. he is very excited and has even bought one to send to hans, which he is also going to fill with cola cao (hot chocolate). it´s really odd, here in espaniol everybody smokes, and so many young people smoke, i know we´ve only had the smoking ban for a little while, but it just seems very odd. ok, i´m done adios beth
