Hey hey!
Well that was nice. Pasta thing with spinach... Mmmm. an Some red wine! 
so ive had a cold for a couple of days an havnt been feeling to hot. So when we left astrgora the plan was to take it easy. What we didnt know was we had a 28k hill up a big mountain! I mean really big! So when we got to the top`we tried to stop at an albergue but didnt have enough money so they wouldn let us stay.
So we carried on up the hill. Then we got to the top... Then i had the fastest 15k ill proably ever have on a bike! I wouldn be surprised if we hit 20 or 30k per hour going down this massive mountain- eyes streaming, everything rateling! twisting around hairpin bends ridiculously fast to avoid going off massive drops!! Spiraling our way down in 1500m in what felt like ten minutes. watching the mile markes wiz past! I was genuinly scared i was gonna go straight off the edge at some points just struggling to keep my balance!
an then suddenly we were in the sunshine again at the bottom. in a pretty little village an i hit a speed bump an one of my panniers flew straight off my bike an started dragging on a bungie cord! Thank goodness that didnt happen half way down!!!
So i stopped to sort it out an found my saddle had nearly rattled itself loose as well then the other pannier fell off! I need to get them fixed asap! Anyway. after that scary (an a little fun) experience we still had 5k til ponferrada so on we went.
We found the albergue which turned out to be a monestery type thing . i was so exhousted i could bearly stand up straight what with the cold, the adrenalin withdrawl an the 55k over a mountain! we had to make a 5 euro "donation" each I didnt have anything smaller than a twenty. So we left. Anyway a guy turned up who didnt have enough money to stay so we paid for him !!
So he made us food, gave us wine an has been really nice! Also the woman in charge is really nice- she heard me sneeze an gave me a box of tissues Oh and the first thing i did when i got here was have a nice warm shower...ah great!!!
