Hey hey!
We rode sixty k today! Phew! So! were finally pilgrims! its all good!
We decided to leave Palencia for fromista yesterday. We rode into a head wind the whole way. it was horrible. it was like riding uphill all the way there! an near the end the road just ended! just plain ended an we had to ride on a dirt road for a while but we found another road shortly after.
We got to the pilgrims hostel in Fromista an got our credentials so were now officially pilgrims! Yay! Then we had a good meal an a couple of glasses of wine an got friendly with the other pilgrims. We met a really nice Italian guy, a really nice danish couple an some aussy girls. We were quite proud of ourselves for picking up the pase again after that huge hill - we rode about 37 k-well done us!!! ..
It was quite fun waving whilst riding past everybody else- all the pilgrims are really friendly.
Anyway tommorrow were gonna ride within about 10k of Leon an then arrive early the next day so we can guarantee a place for the night an see the city at a nice pace... should be fun.
