Santiago / spanish course
Hey
Well the spanish course is looking good! The teacher seems really nice and willing to deal with mine an bethans different levels of language without any kind of extra charge!
Anyway... dot dot dot....d dot dot dot !!!
We met a group of people sitting in a praza makin music and getting drunk. They had dogs and dreads and parker coats instead of ponchos. a guy with his very own dog, with rope-lead and a guitar stood up an started talking to us. He then led me an the hungarian halfway accrss the city to his house, all the while playing guitar (pink floyd- Time 1st, then Money, then the wall- but he broke a string halfway through the wall) and singing at the top of his voice (the kind of singin where he didnt really know the words or what they meant but had listened to the albums so many time he knew what noices to make) with his dog trailing along behind him.... So we got to wherever an he said "look after my dog!" By this point i was a bit confused. I didnt know what was going to happen but i had aquired a dog (of which i have pictures!!!
) which actually turned out to be incredibly well behaved! So anyway. the guy came back and then we returned to praza and sat an sang pink floyd songs (I was the only one who knew the actual words but everybody else made very acurate sounds
) and ............then went back to the albergue !
It was a fun night!
Oh and at the begning when we tryin to find a place to park we found a really narrow alley where other cars were parked. But the alley was so narrowthat the hungarian wanted us to got out so he could park right up against the wall. As he was finishing parking we saw lights of a car started coming around the corner so he waited. That car turned out to be bus! on its route!Me an the german guy (and two passing spanish people) had to press ourselves against the wall to let the bus pass and it felt like i had to breath in as well! So yeah! that was my sureal night with a hungarian, a german and a crazy spanish guy! And in the group in the praza about four other nationalities aside from us! All of them talking brokenly in any language they could to understand each other! Great!
